Business Partnerships

Business partnerships are often refered to as work-wives and work husbands. The complexity and intimacy of these relationships canoften present opportunities for conflict, resentment and the struggle to effectively communicate one’s needs. A therapist can provide the business partnership with an opportunity to have productive difficult conversations, consciously uncouple the business and work through stressful and painful situations.

In addition to her specialized work with addiction, Brie is known for her work with individuals whos lives have been effected by trauma. Brie utilizes Somatic Experiencing to assist clients with physical and emotional regulation.

Family therapy is so often the missing link in the quest for intimacy and more meaningful relationships. Individuals and families may seek family therapy for a variety of reasons; to learn about family roles and rules so that family members may enact more intentional roles as individuals in their family of origin, eliminate dysfunctional communication and behavior, attend to the wounds of those who have been traumatized or feel hurt, establish healthy boundaries, create the space for individualization and to support and intervene on their loved one who is sick and in pain. Brie specializes in assisting families navigate their way through each member’s individuation so that the family system may experience true relationships with one and other.

Couples therapy can be time limited in an effort to work on specific goal and can also remain open-ended to provide ongoing support, maintainance and skills building with you and your partner. Couples seek therapy for a variety of reasons; dysfunctional communication, sexual intimacy, emotional intimacy, betrayal, codependence, and mental health and addiction psychoeducation.
